EPPI Centre successful in EU bid

The EPPI Centre, at the Institute of Education, has been successful in its bid to the European Commission for a two year project to build a network on evidence-based policy and practice across the EU.

The project, Evidence-informed Policy and Practice in Education in Europe (EIPPEE), boasts an impressive 34 partner organisations from 23 different countries, in addition to seven organisations from four countries outside of the EU who have agreed to participate as international affiliates.

The project aims to build infrastructure and processes for brokerage of knowledge using common reference tools and approaches, as well as exchange of good practice, data and evidence from relevant European agencies, networks and national level resources. In doing so, it aims to build on the existing European Commission co-funded EIPEE project, details for which can be found at www.eipee.eu .
